A scarce early release from Bundaberg’s highly regarded Master Distillers’ Collection, this 2012 Dark Oak edition was crafted using some of Bundaberg’s richest mature rum reserves before being finished in heavily charred American oak barrels.

Inspired by the traditional oak vats handcrafted by Bundaberg cooper David Schneider, Dark Oak was designed to showcase a deeper, richer style of Bundaberg Rum with pronounced oak influence. The heavy-char treatment imparts notes of caramel, toasted oak, dried fruit and sweet raisin while maintaining the distinctive Bundaberg character.
This example is particularly desirable as it retains its original Master Distillers neck tag and is an individually numbered bottle, No. 17,826, making it more appealing to serious Bundaberg collectors.
