Johnnie Walker Blue Label - Texas Limited Edition Design, John Walker & Sons Limited, Scotland 750ml

Collectors Edition
The latest Johnnie Walker Blue Label offering within the “Cities” limited edition collection was just released, paying homage to the Lone Star State. It is the most recent add-on to a series that honors New York, California, Miami, Las Vegas, Washington D.C. and Chicago. Johnnie Walker Blue Label, in collaboration with renowned digital artist Luke Halls, reimagines a thriving and vibrant future society that has transformed cityscapes and skylines, embracing new scientific developments to push the limits of what’s possible through the release of 10 limited edition designs.

The bottle’s design is inspired by cultural heritage items and native vegetation associated with the state of Texas, such as prickly pairs and the state flower — the bluebonnet. The Johnnie Walker Blue Label Texas Limited Edition Scotch Whisky also has desert and rodeo scenes depicted on its various panels.

One panel of the bottle has a depiction of a ranch scene illustrated with longhorn cattle under a sign that reads “Keep Walking Ranch.” The sign is a nod to the Scotch brand’s motto, “Keep walking,” in conjunction with the ethos behind ranching, a major driver of the state’s economy.

Some design elements include prickly pears which are native to the state; bluebonnets, the state flower; the renowned rodeo; a vast desert scene. Of particular note, on the left panel of the bottle, there is a fictitious Keep Walking ranch with longhorn cattle befitting the vast expanses of grassy plains, not only paying tribute to Johnnie Walker’s iconic motto but also nodding to ranching which drives the Texas economy and culture.
