Bold Islay peat meets the depth of heavily charred oak in the third limited edition collaboration between Lagavulin and Nick Offerman, known for his role as Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation.
This 2022 release uses American and European oak casks that previously held whisky or wine. The cask interiors were shaved and heavily re-charred before being filled, bringing added richness and spice to Lagavulin’s distinctive smoky character.
Expect peat smoke, dark chocolate and treacle, with hints of red berries and creamy sweetness. Woody spice and warming oak carry through to a long, smoky finish.
With its 11-year age statement, Nick Offerman portrait and striking ember-themed presentation box, this release makes a distinctive addition to an Islay single malt collection or an Offerman Edition lineup.
