A unique collaboration between two giants of the whisky world, Legent Yamazaki Cask Finish Blend brings together the expertise of Fred Noe, 7th Generation Master Distiller of Jim Beam, and Shinji Fukuyo, Chief Blender of the legendary Yamazaki Distillery in Japan.
Starting life as Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled in Clermont, Kentucky, this special release undergoes additional maturation in a combination of French oak wine casks, Spanish sherry casks and ex-Yamazaki whisky casks. The result is a remarkably layered whiskey that bridges traditional American bourbon richness with the elegance and refinement associated with Japanese whisky craftsmanship.
Bottled at a robust 57.1% ABV (114 Proof), this higher-proof expression delivers exceptional depth and concentration. Rich notes of caramel, dark fruits, toasted oak, baking spices and dried berries are complemented by subtle sherry sweetness and delicate Japanese oak influence.
