A historic release for Australian Jack Daniel’s fans — Jack Daniel’s 10 Year Old Batch 4 became the first official age-stated Jack Daniel’s whiskey ever released on Australian shores.
Released globally in 2025, Batch 4 is the fourth release of Jack Daniel’s highly sought-after 10 Year Old series and the expression that finally brought the distillery’s Aged Series officially to Australia.
Made from the classic Jack Daniel’s mash bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye, the whiskey is mellowed through sugar maple charcoal before maturation. The barrels spend time in the upper reaches of Jack Daniel’s barrelhouses before being methodically relocated to lower floors, allowing the whiskey to continue developing over its full decade of maturation.
Bottled at 97 proof (48.5% ABV), Batch 4 takes the familiar Jack Daniel’s character and adds considerably more maturity — bringing together dark fruit, caramel sweetness, seasoned oak and bittersweet cocoa.
NOSE
Rich and inviting with baking spice, banana, caramel and maple sugar, followed by barrel char, nougat and mature oak. There is still that unmistakable Jack Daniel’s character, but ten years in oak gives it a noticeably deeper and more developed profile.
TASTE
Smooth and creamy with caramel, brown butter and dark fruit at the front, moving into dry charred oak, gentle rye spice and white pepper.
Sweetness and oak work beautifully together, giving Batch 4 a mature character without losing the approachable richness Jack Daniel’s is known for.
FINISH
Long, warming and gently dry, with lingering caramel, rye spice, charred oak, leather and white pepper.
The oak stays present after the sweetness fades, leaving behind a mature and unmistakably Jack Daniel’s finish.
