Inspired by the cult “Cheesy Gold Foil” Wild Turkey bottlings of the 1980s and ’90s, this 16-year-old bourbon was created by Bruce Russell to capture that deeply mature, rich and unmistakably funky old-school Wild Turkey character.
Primarily aged in Camp Nelson rickhouses, it delivers serious depth at 120 proof.
NOSE: Mature Wild Turkey oak “funk,” dried fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg & walnut.
TASTE: Cherry cola, dark caramel, clove, tobacco & cocoa.
FINISH: Exceptionally long — peppery spice, brown sugar, mature oak tannins & leather.
